Friends of ours, Mark and Judi Kraska, have the UK’s largest travelling Brick Fun Fair, which if you havent seen it its one of the most amazing things you will see at a brick show – its full of lights, sounds, movement and its absolutely massive!

We happened to be chatting with them at a show and mentioned that we were building the vintage layout and Mark said that he had built a few of his early MOC (My Own Creation) models using older parts. We had said it would be amazing to borrow one of them to add to the layout if he still had them and he amazingly agreed.

We couldn’t just have one ride, what kind of fun fair would that be, so feeling inspired I decided to build a couple of rides to go along with it. We built a fun train, a spaceship spinner and even a fully working ferris wheel to go alongside the ‘Easy Rider’ ride loaned to us by Mark and Judi. As a thank you to Mark and Judi we have included a little nod to their awesome display – see if you can spot it!
